Digital access
The ability to use digital technology and use or create information, such as to be able to search the web for information on a project, business presentation etc. Technology helps me with just about everything. When I need help with something I can easily search the web to find it and share it with others as well. Technology also helps me by giving me the ability to have a cell phone to text, call, or e-mail friends and family to let them know how I’m doing or to ask a simple question.  Technology helps me in many ways, but it not only helps me, it helps many people with anything and everything. There is a wide range of what you can do with technology. Save memories, stay connected, and even keep entertained.
It makes using technology a lot easier if you know the terms such as software, hardware, malware, etc. For example, if someone asked you to update your software, and you don’t know what they are talking about you can be stuck with old software and your apps or programs won’t work as good or maybe not at all. This could be a problem if your profession is a teacher or a writer for a news paper or comic. If your programs like word or pages doesn’t work then you can teach or you can’t give the people the news they need. You could get fired or even replaced. Just because you don’t understand simple terms, it could affect your job and in this economy, maybe your life.

I learned that in this time (2013), technology revolves around everything. To check the weather we turn on the tv or look on our smart phone. We text people all the time, if you need to contact someone we pick up a phone. We use it every day of our lives. We might not notice because it’s a habit. But we use it nonstop. You are using some sort of technology to read this now. Soon, there will be no mail, you’ll be able to pay your bills online and businesses will call you and e-mail you with coupons instead of the mail. We revolve around technology weather we think so or not.
